So this was it! The day we've all been waiting for! We're finally going to the US!!!!! I thought I was gonna get there when I'm like...20? But, here I am now! Haha! Well, our flight was at 12 nn so we got up at 7:00 am. I was so excited for the flight! I dressed in my newest OJ clothes! Haha! I was really really really thrilled!
Well, our first stop was at Hong Kong. We checked on the internet to see who won American Idol... and THANK GOODNESS it's David Cook! Haha! We expected it was Archuleta because of the judjes' remarks during the performance night! Congrats Cook!!! Ok, so we got on board... The plane was SOOO COOL! It had an entertainment system! Haha! I watched a documentary about the Top 20 highest earners below 25 years old. I was happy to see Miley there! I think she was ranked 17... Anyway, the whole show lasted for the whole flight...hahaha...
In Hong Kong, all we did was sit and wait. Since the chairs ner our gate were kinda full, we decided to stay somewhere else...it was far from our gate though. My parents just used their laptops, my sisters watched and played the PSP while I read Archie Comics. Then my mom offered me some bubble gum [why am I telling you this? you'll know why ;)]. Then....we kinda wondered why we're not hearing any announcement regarding our flight. We thought it was a bit delayed...so we just waited. Then my mom advised that we should throw the gum already...so she went to the trash can to throw the gum...Suddenly, there was something very SHOCKING that she saw: {blink}FINAL CALL{blink}!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!! My golly! Our whole family was like CRAZY! Hhahaha! THANK YOU BUBBLEGUM! =)) What wouldv'e happened if my mom didn't throw the gum and we missed the flight!? :O Whew...anyway...we just got in the plane!
Ok, so we just used our entertainment systems... I watched 27 Dresses, listened to some music, played some games and watched Fashion Police: Grammy's 2008 :) ARGH! Sitting for 14 hours was EXHAUSTING!!!! ~x( golly... I tried to sleep ut I can't...I only slept for 1 HOUR throughout the whole flight! Goodness! Oh well...Nothing much about that flight....only it was tiring...
At last! We finally got to our destination! I was very excited the moment we landed! :) Only one problem, we were so hungry (I didn't like the food that much), sleepy and exhausted! GOLLY! Well, it took us some time to rent a car...Oh...and...the air outside was like aircon! It was like there was an gigantic imaginary aircon blowing all over the place! Hahaha...
Ok, so we have a car. Problem: We don't know where to go! Good thing we have a GPS! (Whatever that stands for) It's a device that guides us to our destination! Woohoo! But, my dad really had a BIG problem with the road rules here. AS IN. We needed to go around and around the whole place for about....5 times? ARGH! The rules are different here....unlike in the Philippines. Well, at least we got to our hotel! Haha!
The hotel was okay :) It was cozy! Haha! After checking in, we needed to go for some grocery! Gosh...I was so tired and hungry at this point....After shopping for groceries, we went to a nearby bookstore. We searched for The Clique Novels! EVERY SINGLE NOVEL was there! But...IT WAS SOOO EXPENSIVE! :(( We had tot hink about it before we could buy it....sigh...oh well...
To make things better, we did some shopping for clothes! Good thing we found a store on sale! Weee! I love shopping!
And then, we went back to the hotel to rest for a while, but we had a dinner with my mom and dad's friend :D We ate in a really fine restaurant! We can even draw on the tables! SERIOUSLY! It was great there :)
So I guess that's about it for this day! My bed time is minutes away...haha! Universal Studios tomorrow! WOOHOO! Thanks for reading!
